  • OVERVIEW

Current research in the field of trauma is showing that treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder cannot be approached in a “one size fits all “manner.  The effects of trauma vary greatly depending on the type of trauma, as well as the severity and duration of the trauma. There has been rapid advancement in formulating specific treatment approaches for specific types of traumatized populations. This training will examine the unique symptoms and specific treatment protocols that can be utilized to help victims of sex trafficking, people that have lost loved ones to murder, and children that have endured war, slavery, or political terror, as well as some other unique trauma populations.
